growing moldy

settled down in Juneau
& move so little, i think my feet are rooting
in the glacial till
& my shoes are growing moldy
& my hat is soaked with rain.
i'm dreaming of some palm trees swaying in a warm, tropical breeze
on Hawai'i, Malibu ....
