Key West sent me for a LooP
12.29.03 (10:58 am) [edit]
It was later than i usually travel and crossing all the bridges and seeing the variety of colours reflected on the sea... when i got to Key West i didn't bother to look at the map so i drove around South 1 & North 1 twice before i realized Key West sent me on a LooP, it was really the end of my southward journey, O My!
so i parked and joined the crowds of holiday celebrants, had a pina colata and watched a floor show. next mor' i took a few photos and decided to start my trek back up the Keys at a leisurely pace.
the photos are posted on on my Yahoo Album site.

New Orleans' French Quarter was stimulating, very old-style and retro-shik. accidentally found the ol' smithy shoppe said to have been owned at one time by Jean Lafitte. tooke a couple of photos of the corner bldg which now serves as a pub. greate way to serve the old pirate's memory.
Hwy 10 in & out of N.O., all the way across Louisianna was is an irregular, piece of it! i was able to avoid most of by driving lower, southern routes.
After N.O. i scatted thru Mississippi, Alabama & into Florida. nites have been chilly.
French Quarter photos will be added to Yahoo link as soon as i can upload them. This Library in Ft Myers has a block on CD format.
